Unfortunately I think Obama has more pressing problems to deal with as his term in office begins.

Interesting: this was reported as well on CNN this morning. Bill Clinton did this right when he took office. This letter repeal is coming up at an interesting time, and will Obama spend his political "chits" to over-turn bad policy? I think it is all very interesting timing. Will Congress approve? The American people? What the CNN report said was that the higher echelon want the "manpower" that has been decimated by DADT, and younger recruits just don't care as much.
