In the New York Times this morning there was an editorial covering the move that Governor David Paterson made in making New York at state that recognizes gay and lesbian marriages from other states. While not as much a cymbal-crashing move as the California Supreme Court's decision, nonetheless it is important to remember that couples from Canada, Massachusetts, and soon California would have their marriages recognized--in other words, equal with heterosexual marriages--which is a "first" in the country...is it not?

What caught my eye this morning when reading the NYT on-line was the simple title, "Gay Marriage." This is before I cruised towleroad.com, queerty.com, or andresullivan.com It is an important move!
"Come on along and listen to the lullaby of Broadway..." Time to celebrate NY!
Pace!
